Glenna Gilbert Jones For award winning artist Glenna Gilbert-Jones, art has always been a very important means of communication and expression. She attempts to interweave dream and mystery with spirit and reality. Her oil paintings, watercolors, etchings, drawings and sculpture depict the essence of her personality. Through the use of vivid colors, textures, and her sensitivity to beauty and to life she conveys unparallel vibrancy to the world around her.  She is a graduate of Hunter College, New York and studied under such noted painters as Gordon Wagner, Arnold Mesches, Fritz Faiss, William Bowne, Roger Kuntz, Robert Bizinsky, and Keith Finch. She has exhibited in numerous competitions, including the National Orange Show three consecutive years, Del Mar Annual, Santa Paula, Inland Empire Show, and the National Watercolor Show. Her mural “Man’s Search” was installed at the National Orange Show Stadium Building. She also painted a mural for the Industrominun Company in 1974 and furnished their office with numerous landscapes . She also exhibited at the Pacific Design Center, and several etchings were purchased by The Brand Library in Glendale, CA including “Two Roses”.  more Click on the pictures below to see the larger version.
